My Dream Job


Hello! Today I'm going to write about my dream job. 

In my life I have imagined myself working on many things. Since I was little I liked to observe the sky, I was always interested in stars, planets and everything related to the universe, that's why I used to imagine myself as an astronaut when I was a child, and when I grew up, as an astronomer.

But after a few years, I also became very interested in mathematics. In my first year of university I decided to study engineering, but soon I noticed that this wasn’t the job I wanted.

I wanted to study something that could help people and something entertaining for me, that's why I started studying dentistry, a part of this work seems to me artistic and I like that a lot, this is my dream job.

It is a generally indoor job; the work is in a health center or in a private practice attending patients.
This work doesn’t involve traveling, but there are many interesting conferences in different parts of the world to attend.

In my dream job as a dentist, I would like to dedicate my time mainly to public health and prevention. I think it is very important to focus my work on preventing cavities and diseases rather than just treating them.

Also, I would like to dedicate part of my time to research and to teaching, I hope I have enough time to do all that!

A great concert experience

In November of the last year, I went to the Bruno Mars concert with my sister; it was in the Estadio Nacional. Bruno Mars is a singer, composer and a really good dancer from the United States. Some of his more famous songs are “Just the way you are”, “The Lazy song” and “24k Magic” from his last album. The concert started at 21:00 hours, but my sister and I went to the stadium about 17:00. A lot of people were waiting the concert many hours before the start and some people ran to be closer to the stage when the doors were opened. The people were very excited waiting the concert, we all expected a great show and it was. It was a hot day and a long waiting, but the concert was amazing, Bruno Mars sings even better in live and he and his dancers did an incredible show. Me and my sister sing and dance all the songs. When the concert ended, we was very happy, it was an amazing and really fun night.

An interesting animal!

Hi! Today I am going to write about an animal that I find interesting, it’s the dolphin. Dolphins are found almost every ocean in the world and in some important rivers. They prefer temperate zones and avoid very cold waters. Their habitat varies according to the species of the dolphin, there are more than 30! And it also varies according the access to food. I think that the dolphins are very interesting; they are one of the most intelligent animals. The dolphins communicate with each other through different sounds, it is even said that they call each other by names, I think that is fascinating! The dolphins are marine mammals and they stay with their mothers for 3 or even 8 years, that is a long time. Another interesting fact about dolphins is that when they are asleep, one part of their brain remains alert and awake to keeps them safe from predators and to breathe while they are asleep. What country would I like to visit?

I’d like to visit Italy, because I have seen many pictures of this country and I think it is a beautiful place. I don’t know a lot about this country, but I really like Italian food and I’d like go to Italy to eat a lot of pizza, lasagna and spaghetti. I’d like to know many places in Italy, I’d like to visit the Roman Coliseum in Roma because I think it is an interesting place to know, it is a building with a lot of history. I think in Italy are many beautiful and interesting cities and I really would like to visit Venice, in the north of Italy, I think it is a romantic and beautiful city or that is how it looks in the movies. I don’t know if I’d like to live or work there for now, but in the future I could think about it, the culture of this country is interesting and I would like to know more about it.
